Fishing was great at the Beach this summer, but it's time to come home. Here's a picture of the ocean front as I leave. I never new how good the smell of corn was until I left the city and got back to the Northern Neck. Here are some pics of our last week fishing. Hope everyone enjoys.

Nothing fights like a tuna. We caught several bluefin the last week in the 80 to a hundred pound class.

We had a great day on the 7th with Diane and Barry Maddox. We caught our over 47", and under 47" bluefin, and had two release citations for fish over 60 inches.

Man those guys from Orange County sure do catch some big fish. Just playing, caught these small blues while fishing with Philip Roberts, and Mark Hutchison, this isn't what they were looking for, so we caught a nice limit of spade fish to go along with them.

This is more like it. Man those spades fight hard.

Fishing continued to be decent that afternoon. Here's Dickie Dost and his party with some nice spade fish. Had a few near the 9 pound citation mark, but didn't quite get it.

Nothing like catching big fish on light tackle. Here's Dickie with a big amberjack on 17lb. test.

What action these amberjack were literally jumping out of the water to take our live baits, and the fight was on. Catching fifty pound fish on 17 to 20 pound test is awesome.

Check out the teeth on this baracuda.
More A.J. pictures.

Here's Jimmy and Joyce Salmon, and the guys from Capital City Four Wheelers, with a limit of spade fish caught at the Bay Bridge Tunnel

Jimmy Salmon with a nice pair of spades.

That's why they call them "ugly sticks" look at that bend.

Mike McClung and his gang cuaght some nice amberjack, and spade fish.

Richmond County's Randy Davis and his son enjoyed amberjack action as well, along with some spade fish, and a big ugly baracuda

Little Danny O'bier with his first spade.

Nice mess of fish

Ugly fish, and good lookn little fellows, another cuda for the Richmond County guys.
